The Forrest and Cynthia McIlwain Freedom Scholarship

• Residency: no residency requirements
• Academic Program(s): Any degree or certificate program
• GPA:2.0 or good standing in a certificate program
  This fund is to be used as a scholarship for employed parents enrolled either full-time or part-time in any program of study that leads to a certificate or degree and who meets the financial eligibility requirements, except the requirement that they be registered for Selective Service, established for receipt of federal student aid. The recipients of this scholarship should understand that this scholarship was established in the memory of those individuals who were held as United States slaves and of those individuals who have fought against slavery."
