NCHF, Dr. Henry Farkas Scholarship (CNA Program)

The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarship support to students enrolled in the CNA Program.

• Residency: Students residing in Cecil County will be given preference. In the event students from Cecil County do not apply or fail to meet the scholarship criteria, students from surrounding areas may be considered.
  *Academic Program: Students must be enrolled in the clinical component of the CNA program. CNA students must successfully complete the theory component and be eligible to enroll in the clinical component of the CNA program.
• GPA: CNA students must be currently enrolled, in good standing, in the CNA program.
• Commitment: students who apply for this scholarship, should have an interest in hospice care, and are encouraged to contact Northern Chesapeake Hospice to participate in observational experiences during the time period of the scholarship.
• Financial: The award is merit-based.
