The Polito Scholarship
Dr. Veronica Dougherty is a long-time valued employee of Cecil College and as a beneficiary of the era when CCNY was a tuition free college, she is acutely aware of the financial burden of higher education on students today. In this spirit of helping students reach their education goals, she has established the Polito scholarship fund.
Impact
This scholarship is named for Polito, one of the many Seeing Eye puppies whose training has been supported on the Cecil College campus. Polito came to school every day with enthusiasm and joy. It is our intent that this scholarship will help foster some of these positive feelings toward coming to Cecil for an education..
This fund is established to support a student enrolled in a degree program Cecil College.
