The Paul Pudlinski Scholarship

The Paul Pudlinski Scholarship

Paul Pudlinski has a long history of lending a helping hand to those in need, whether it be through supporting his church, local food pantry, or providing educational support to students in need. He and his beloved wife, Gail Vander Horst Proctor, wanted to ensure that students demonstrating financial need were able to attend Cecil College to further their education.
This fund is established by Paul Pudlinski and in memory of his wife, Gail Vander Horst Proctor. Gail also had a family history of valuing the impact of education.

The Paul Pudlinski Scholarship, formerly known as the VanderHorst and Manheimer Family Scholarship fund was established by Paul and his wife Gail Vander Horst-Proctor, now deceased.
Her father, Elias Vander Horst Jr “Pete” born in December of 1910 , studied engineering at Lehigh University, following his father’s path. He met Blanche Manheimer on a cruise on the Saguanay, St. Lawrence River, Quebec, Canada. Blanche, born in August of 1911, had graduated from Rider College with a degree in Commercial Arts (keyboarding and shorthand). She was required to stop teaching when she got pregnant. Family values placed emphasis on education for their only child. Gail, born July of 1942, graduated from Germantown Friends in 1960, Wells College, BA in 1964 and Case Western Reserve, MSW in 1966. Paul continues to pay it forward by helping others receive an education.
