The Eva M. Muse Memorial Scholarship
The Minority Student Services Advisory Board (MSSAB) at Cecil College has established this scholarship fund as a way of honoring the tireless work over the course of Eva Muse’s lifetime in behalf of students and residents of Cecil County. As an educator and teacher, Eva Muse was also a historian of great stature and renown. The MSSAB at Cecil College and Mrs. Muse’s many friends and admirers established this fund to ensure that her legacy continues to grow in years to come.
Impact
The purpose of the Eva M. Muse Scholarship Fund is to provide financial assistance to Cecil College students enrolled in the teacher education/preparation program. Students of color will be given first priority for this scholarship.
