Rising Sun Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Scholarship
This scholarship funding is made available from the annual Rising Sun Health Fair that is sponsored by the Rising Sun Chamber of Commerce, and is managed by Dr. Joseph K. Weidner Jr. M.D. from Stone Run Family Practice in Rising Sun. The profit from this yearly event is solely funded from vendors in the medical field and is why we decided to create this scholarship for students that will be pursuing this as a career goal.
Impact
The purpose of this fund is to help a student(s) that is electing to go into the medical profession to achieve these goals. We would be hopeful the student(s) that accepts our contribution would utilize the funds to the fullest in order to complete their degree or certificate in the medical field they have selected.
