Suellen Strickler and Family Scholarship
Suellen has been a registered nurse since 1996 and is a long time supporter of Cecil College and the community. She has a strong belief in education and is dedicated to the preparation of quality health care providers.
Suellen understands the time and commitment that is required to be successful in the nursing program and is committed to providing support for a nurse who may not otherwise have the opportunity to pursue their dream of becoming a certified RN.
Suellen completed nine years of service as a Director for the Cecil College Foundation Board of Directors, including serving on the Fund Development Committee. She has served as Chair of the Little Black Dress event and is instrumental in supporting, sponsoring, and continuing successful Foundation fundraising events.
Suellen is currently serving a second term as a Director for the Cecil College Foundation. She is a lifelong resident of Cecil County and is an active member of the community.
Impact
The purpose of this scholarship is to support a student enrolled in the Nursing Program at Cecil College.

• Academic Program(s): Registered Nurse – Associate of Science
• GPA: Recipient must be accepted into the RN program, and maintain a 2.75 GPA for second semester and/or continued funding.
• Other: Recipient must demonstrate financial need with preference given to a single-parent and/or working parent.
