Amy Smythe Scholarship

Aspen Consulting Group is a small business based in Point Pleasant, NJ.
Many of our employees work on site at Aberdeen Proving Ground and live in Cecil County. The management
of Aspen Consulting wanted to recognize Amy Smythe, a nursing instructor at Cecil College, for saving the life
of one of her fellow runners during the Key West Half Marathon. Many other people would have stopped and
looked, or taken out their phones to record a stranger in distress, but she chose to do something about it and for
her actions that day, we feel she should be recognized with a scholarship fund in her name.
