Adeline Oden Memorial Scholarship

Adeline Anne Gustaitis Oden (1906-1993) came to the United States from Lithuania and lived in New Jersey with her husband and two daughters. Mrs. Oden valued education and made sure that her children attended college. Gloria Adele Oden (1928 – 2008) established the scholarship to honor her mother, the nursing profession that she loved and to invest in the economy of Cecil County and its families. She wanted children to learn how advanced education in general, and nursing in particular, adds great value to life.
