List all sports in which you have participated and the dates that you played. You may include community teams that were not affiliated with your high school.
To apply for this scholarship you are required to submit a portfolio consisting of 8-12 pieces of artwork, in any media or style, completed within the past 1-2 years. Your ideas, concepts and technical ability should be clearly represented in your portfolio. Please submit your portfolio to lvanni@cecil.edu.
It is recommended that all applicants submit some example of direct observational drawings (not copied from photographs or other 2-D sources).
Please include an artist statement. Your artist statement introduces you as an artist and is a chance to explain how and why you make your art. The artist statement is a crucial portion of your portfolio and is a chance to help the department understand what is driving you to pursue an art degree.
Acceptable digital formats:
Images: JPG, PNG, TIFF, PDF
Videos: up to 60mb in MP4, MOV, GIF
PDF Portfolio: Up to 10mb
Tips:
• Proper Lighting and Backgrounds:
Photos of your work should be taken under good lighting and set against a neutral background to avoid distractions. The artwork should be clearly visible with minimal glare, shadow, or distortion.
• Cropping and Framing:
Crop the images to show only the artwork, without unnecessary backgrounds. Avoid showing framing or studio spaces unless it’s a part of the concept for 3D or installation work.
• Organization:
Organize the works in a logical, clear order.

List any jobs that you have had, dates employed, and approximate hours worked each week.
